Newmark High SchoolNewmark High School’s curriculum is designed to prepare students of all levels academically, socially, and emotionally for life after graduation. We have a college preparatory curriculum, as well as the modifications necessary for students with specific learning disabilities.  In fact, 100% of our Class of 2012 pursued post-secondary education  at local and national institutions including UNC Wilmington, NJIT, Butler University, Kean University, Middlesex Community College, and NYIT.

We offer online courses for students who may need to make up credits or for students who need a course that may not be part of our regular curriculum. All students will receive a comprehensive transition plan to help them prepare for life after graduation.

Curriculum Instructional Focus

Newmark High School provides each student with an appropriate education based uponstudent reading his/her Individualized Education Program (IEP), developed by their school district in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code 6A:14, the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, and Workplace Readiness Standards. It is the goal of the Newmark High School that each student work within and meet these standards.  LEARN MORE.

DID YOU KNOW?

The vast majority of Newmark High School graduates go on to post-secondary education or training at local and national institutions including UNC Wilmington, NJIT, Kean University, Middlesex Community College, Montclair State University, and Butler University.
