Cynthia Allman
Co-Founder/Executive Director, Newmark Schools
Ms. Allman has served as a behavioral intervention consultant and school social worker in a state-approved private school. A regarded motivational speaker, Ms. Allman has led Wellness and Peak Performance seminars at Fortune 500 companies and leading educational organizations in New Jersey including Exxon Corporation, Medifit Corporate Services, Rutgers University, Seton Hall University and Drexel University.
Ms. Allman has also worked as an adjunct sports psychology professor at Seton Hall University, designing and implementing a social skills program for athletes. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Seton Hall University.
Cathleen George, LCSW
Clinical Director, Newmark Schools
Ms. George has thirteen years of experience in the mental health field, with the last 10 spent as a school counselor at Newmark Schools. She has also worked in foster care and in a hospital setting. In addition to providing counseling services to students, she focuses on training staff on mental health issues, and shaping student behavior.
Ms. George received her Bachelor of Science degree from Caldwell College, and her MSW from Fordham University. She also maintains a private therapy practice and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
